Compost with the Lauris preschool at the Grand Potager

The Lauris preschool children discovered the principle of the compost in the Grand Potager of the Domaine de Fontenille.

The children took turns cutting fruit and vegetable peelings into small pieces and throwing them into the compost. This activity allows the children to become aware of the role of organic waste in the formation of soil that is beneficial to plant growth.
